Ingredients
- 1 pound pizza dough(or 1 can refrigerated pizza dough)
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce (plus more for dipping)
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 2/3 cup pepperoni
Directions
- Cut out a 10 × 14-inch rectangle from the dough. (For this recipe, you can use store-bought or homemade dough.)
- Apply olive oil to the area by brushing.
- Evenly cover the dough with the pizza sauce. (Leave a gap of about 1 inch around the edges.)
- Add mozzarella and pepperoni on top.
- Beginning with the long end, tightly roll the dough into a log.
- Slice the wood into 1-inch pieces, placing the seam-side down. (You can chill the log for about 20 minutes on a baking sheet in the refrigerator. This is a crucial step that will make slicing much simpler.)
- Insert the pizza rolls into the basket, spacing them out by about a half-inch. (If required, you’ll have to cook in batches.)
- Set the timer for 8 minutes and the temperature to 375°F.
- After 8 minutes, check every 1 minute until the dough is fully baked, and the cheese has melted.
